Recently, while scanning ads in the real estate classified section, I came across a listing… Here’s what it said:

*OWNER FINANCING*

MUST SELL! 2/2 new kit, new appl, gar screened porch $184,990 Make offers. Negotiable Owner Reduced 25K, 561-XXX-XXXX

Now, after you read it, what’s your FIRST Impression?

Does it scream… DESPERATION?

The owner of the ad is basically saying: “Hey I’ve reduced this house already… It’s not selling… someone please, please just make me an offer… I’ll even finance it for you.” Sounds like it’s been on the market for awhile… and it doesn’t look good for the owner.

Now, it’s okay to be a MOTIVATED seller with a need for URGENCY, but there’s a better way to craft the ad above to attract a wider pool of potential buyers.

Back when I was trying to sell my home, and after lowering the price of it some 30k, I STILL couldn’t get anyone to come see it.

Listen to Constance Wong, a Realtor in Singapore who used the 21-Day program. That’s right, SINGAPORE! (The USA isn’t the only country experiencing a housing slowdown.)

Here’s what she emailed me:
